LASA 2009 gender & politics panel

Adriana Ortiz-Ortega (El Colegio de México) is interested in putting together a panel on gender issues and the role they play in Latin American politics. She is working on a paper on the role that abortion politics and same-sex marriage has played in Mexican politics—specifically in Mexico City in the last ten years, but also addressing other states/regions.
