MPSA - Judicial Politics in Latin America

As you know, the MPSA proposal submission deadline is very close. I plan to present a paper on the strategic behavior of the Colombian Constitutional Court (which is part of my dissertation project) and I wonder if anyone knows of, or is interested in a panel on judicial politics in Latin America.

I don't know of any specific panel. But you can always simply submit an individual paper proposal. I've only ever done that. MPSA panels are well conceptualized, and you'll be placed on an interesting panel.

One of the things I like about the MPSA conference is that panels are often thematic, rather than "region" based. So you may find yourself on a panel dealing w/ judicial politics in other regions beyond merely Latin America. That can often help you learn about cases or literatures that may help you conceptualize your own projects.
